Alternative - Rock - World - Pop - Experimental Musiciens Sans Frontiéres is a NYC based alternative rock project, with members originally hailing from the U.S.A., Austria and Columbia. In their latest album, "Spread Some Love" (endorphin records), they fuse alternative rock with world beats and experimental soundscapes, encompassing a spectrum from goth and grunge to world beat, ska and folk-punk. The songs tackle issues ranging from green energy and banning fracking ("So Many Ways") to marijuana legalization ("Legalize") to the need to protest (Dead Hero, MSF's version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit") to the need to protect ("Affection"). Five songs off their latest album have been receiving airplay on 23 radio stations (commercial, satellite and internet) across the U.S., on Austria's premiere alternative radio station FM4 as well as three radio stations in Germany to date. Actress - Singer - Songwriter With her current band, Musiciens Sans Frontieres and their prior incarnation LOVE ALIEN (alternative rock) she's toured in Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East, played Yasgurs Farm in the Woodstock Delirium Concert (a Woodstock Reunion Concert, on the bill with Buzzy Linhart, Melanie and Country Joe) and numerous benefits including the Salvation Army Benefit for Hurricane Katrina victims at Pier 66, NYC, a benefit for IndyMedia, and for the 9/11 firefighters. Their music video MSF's "Smells Like Teen Spirit", in which Jillie was lead singer/performer, was the Official Selection of twelve film festivals worldwide (2009, 2010), and received three Best Music Video Awards. Music video "Legalize", released February 2011 (which she co-directed and co-produced in addition to singing and co-writing) was the Official Selection at eleven film festivals, receiving four awards. And their latest music video "So Many Ways (for Safe, Green, Sane Energy)" (March 2012) which she also co-directed and co-produced, was selected to the Other Venice Film Festival, the London Independent Film Festival, won the Golden Reel Award at the Las Vegas Film Festival and is currently making the festival rounds . Thomas Simon Composer - Musician - Producer - Camera/DP - Editor European-born artist/co-owner at Endorphin Records & Films, Thomas Simon has toured internationally with alternative rock bands (Love Alien, MUSICIENS SANS FRONTIÉRES); has been commissioned to created music for film, tv and theater; worked as DP and editor on documentaries, activist & educational programs and high profile events. Thomas Simon's visual and soundtrack works have been selected, so far, to 32 international film festivals, spread over four continents in the last few years, winning seven awards. His numerous albums, produced on endorphin records, are receiving continuous airplay on commercial and college & internet radio worldwide. Together with his wife, actress/singer-songwriter Jillie Simon, Thomas founded Endorphin Records in the late '90's in New York City, where they live and create.
